French Toast with Bonne Maman Strawberry Jam

Bonne Maman Strawberry Preserve Jam Tart Recipe

  • 4 large slices of bread (stale)

  • 200 g milk (coconut milk)

  • 50 g brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 vanilla pod

  • 5 g butter / slice of bread

  • 200 g whipping cream

  • 30 g icing sugar

  • 1 jar Bonne Maman Strawberry Jam

  • handful of chopped pistachios

  • 2 kiwis

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the milk, sugar, eggs and vanilla seeds together.


Step 2

Soak the bread in the mixture.


Step 3

Melt the butter in a frying pan, and lay the bread in it. Leave the bread to brown on one side then turn it over to brown on the other side.


Step 4

Whip the cream and add the icing sugar at the end.


Step 5

Add some whipped cream to each slice of French toast, with 1 tbsp of Bonne Maman Strawberry Jam, pieces of Kiwis and the chopped pistachios.
