Preparation

Step 1:

Heat the candle gel according to the product instructions. Then add the glitter.

Step 2

Insert the golden stars into the still-liquid gel, spreading them out with a wooden pick. Leave to cool until the gel becomes translucent.

Step 3:

Trace a 15cm-diameter circle on the wooden board and cut it out with a jigsaw.

ree

Step 4:

Drill a hole in the center of the wooden disc (to allow the LED string cable to pass through). On the underside of the board, extrude a circle the width of the housing to conceal it (here approx. 6.5cm), as well as the top of the wooden disc to conceal the garland cable (2cm).

Step 5:

Using the chisel, hollow out the location of the garland casing (and on the reverse to conceal the garland wire).

ree

Step 6:

Glue snowflake stickers all around the lid, or draw the star motif with a white felt-tip pen. Wind the garland cable through the hole in the wooden disc, and glue the garland casing to the underside of the base.

ree

Step 7:

Glue the Bonne Maman Pot onto the wooden disc and enjoy the soft, subdued light of your “Winter Nightlight”.
